As I ring in the New Year tonight, I’ll give my husband and daughter a kiss and then raise a glass to you. You are the only reason local open space has a champion. I am thankful for you and the #PeopleWeLove who make our work possible.

With your support, in 2017 we will speak up for:
- Wildlife connectivity, watersheds, and farmlands in San Jose’s Coyote Valley, where there is a proposal to build a massive warehouse and distribution center.
- Bay wetlands that are threatened by Redwood City’s Inner Harbor Specific Plan.
- Coastal bluffs and rare habitat on the Vallemar Bluffs in Moss Beach.
- Hillsides and sensitive habitat on 900 acres in south San Jose, by opposing the Young Ranch subdivision proposal.
- Historic public access at Martin’s Beach.
- And so much more…
Thank you for helping us start 2017 off right and giving me someone to toast tonight. You are #PeopleWeLove.
Happy New Year’s Eve!

Executive Director
