Join us at the Earth Day Festival and Great Race for Saving Water on April 22 from 9am-3pm. We are happy to be a partner on this regional Earth Day celebration with the City of Palo Alto and many other organizations.

There are many ways to enjoy this event:

EARTH DAY FESTIVAL: Expect a full day of fun with 3 different event sites (see map below) including activities, live animals, water/mud investigations, weed pulling, food trucks, music, arts and crafts, bike expo, games, prizes, community tabling and much more. Learn more here.

RUN IN THE 5K RACE WITH US: Join our very own Executive Director Megan Medeiros in the fun 5K race from 9am-10am. First 20 people to register (here), will receive a Committee for Green Foothills hat. Just forward your race registration confirmation to Justyne and we’ll provide your hat the morning of the race.

TAKE A BIRD WALK WITH US: With San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory docents, we will lead a 2-mile family friendly Earth Day Bird Walk at 11am from the Baylands Athletic Center to Cooley Landing and back. Take in sights of the bay and look for different bird species along the trail. Sign up for the Earth Day Bird Walk here.
