We’re pleased to announce that longtime Committee for Green Foothills members Herb and Norma Grench won this gorgeous painting of Windy Hill during our 2014 year-end appeal. We’re thankful to local artist Kit Colman for donating this piece and helping inspire people to support our work. In addition to being members, Herb is a former board member of Committee for Green Foothills. He was also the first General Manager of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District from 1973-1993. It is very fitting that he won this painting of Windy Hill Open Space Preserve, as it was one of the District’s early acquisitions.
We’re glad that this painting found a home where it is sure to be appreciated. Congratulations Herb and Norma! Thanks for all your years of generous support.
