GOTV for Measure AA!

There is just one month left to get out the vote before June 3, 2014, when those of us in MidPen’s district will have the chance to vote YES on Measure AA for open space. Committee for Green Foothills is working hard to ensure this measure passes, and we need your help. We plan to be out at the preserves every weekend during the month of May and could use some people to help spread the word about this important ballot measure.

About Measure AA
Measure AA is a bond measure, and requires a 2/3 vote in Midpen’s jurisdiction (San Mateo and Santa Clara counties and a portion of unincorporated Santa Cruz County). If passed, this measure would enable MidPen to:

• improve access to hiking and biking opportunities
• protect and preserve redwood forests, natural open spaces, our coast, and critical wildlife habitat
• restore creeks to protect water quality
• reduce forest fire risk
