John Lynch, volunteer extraordinaire, has helped propel the Dunes Beach campaign forward by personally collecting over 2,000 signatures in Half Moon Bay for a petition we crafted with members of the community to express support for protecting the area adjacent to Dunes Beach from development.

John is a former member of the Committee for Green Foothills Board of Directors and has worked on many environmental campaigns, including gathering signatures for Measure T, the initiative that brought San Mateo the Devil’s Slide Tunnel and saved what is now McNee Ranch State Park from being paved over.  He reports that Dunes Beach has been one of the most popular campaigns he’s worked on yet.  Hats off to John for his tireless advocacy!
