Please join me at a public workshop on restoring access at Martin’s Beach next Monday, July 20, hosted by our friends at the Surfrider Foundation. What’s Happening
Committee for Green Foothills has been working closely with Surfrider Foundation and the community to restore access at Martin’s Beach. (For more information about our role in this work and the Surfrider Foundation v. Martin’s Beach court case, please see our Martin’s Beach project page).

Next week’s workshop is an important step towards fully restoring public access. The workshop will include updates from litigators of the trial, roundtable discussions of various aspects of access, and a chance to hear from representatives of the State Lands Commission and Coastal Commission on their roles in restoring access.

Why It Matters
For over 50 years, Committee for Green Foothills and other activists have worked to ensure that people from all walks of life have access to our public waterways, especially the Bay and San Mateo coast. This is a great opportunity for you to be part of these efforts. I hope you will join me.

Thanks for speaking up.
