Thank you Menlo Park City Councilmembers for your vote to protect wildlife at Bedwell Bayfront Park.

We recently sent an action alert about the Menlo Park City Council’s vote on the future of Bedwell Bayfront Park, urging you to ask councilmembers to forgo changes to the park that could be harmful to wildlife. Fortunately, last Tuesday, they voted to keep Bedwell as a natural resource.  In fact, councilmembers approved discussion of greater educational activities in the park, which would be compatible with its proximity to wildlife habitat and could foster an appreciation for the natural space as it exists now.
