Urge Caltrans to Stop Broadcast Spraying

Urge Caltrans to Stop Broadcast Spraying

IMG_3078Last week I sent a letter to Caltrans District 4 urging the agency to stop broadcast spraying herbicides along state highways in San Mateo County to control weeds. San Mateo County’s natural habitats are home to over 40 endangered or threatened species, or species of special concern. We must protect them.

Please join me and Committee for Green Foothills and urge Caltrans District 4 to stop broadcast spraying of herbicides. The Mr. Bijan Sartipi, the District Director can be contacted by email: [email protected] or mail:

Mr. Bijan Sartipi
District Director
Caltrans District 4
P.O. Box 23660
Oakland, CA 94623-0660

For more information and ideas for what to include in your letter, please see my letter to Caltrans. Thank you for speaking up for the protection of our important local species and human health.

Sincerely,

Lennie Roberts
Legislative Advocate
